Note:   Spectrum Entertainment produced all of the entertainment for the recent Allie Awards in March of 2009.  This prestigious night is produced annually by local event professionals celebrating the outstanding event achievements throughout the year.  We set Big Band Atlanta right up on the stage to be the house band and they were the perfect band for such a glamorous affair!  The following is a piece of the press release found at http://www.allieawards.com/index.html

"The 19^th annual collaboration of the Atlanta chapters of NACE and ISES was another stunning affair.   “The Way We Were” was the title of the Old Hollywood-themed gala, held Sunday March 15 at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta.  This year’s Allie Awards ceremony began with a reception where guests could peruse the nominees’ notebooks over Absolut cocktails poured through ice luges or over specialty logo ice and ice balls, all provided by Ice Caters.  Corona joined Absolut Vodka as two major beverage brands becoming first-ever direct Allies sponsors, and hopefully will continue for years to come.  The butler-service hors d’oeuvres by Menu Inspirations/Appetizers Inc. were scrumptious and guests had fun with green screen photography by Catch The Moment. Then the ballroom doors opened with a flourish as the lovely Dames Aflame showgirls led us into a classic mid-century style stage show, featuring the fantastic 17-piece Big Band Atlanta with talented crooner Mike Geier and vocalist Kayla Taylor, all coordinated by Spectrum Entertainment."  Walt Nemeth, CPCE
